The Gathering is a learning studio that provides middle, high school, and early online college students opportunities to gather in person to learn, explore, and work together on projects for 21st-century life preparation.
The Gathering accepts students between approximately 11-18 years of age. Exceptions may be granted for younger, independent learners.
Families can choose 2, 3, or 5-day learning options in the Studio. Attendance is never taken, so parents need not worry about family vacations, appointments, tardiness, or sick days.
A learning coach is responsible for supporting students in their academic work in the morning and during their community-based projects in the afternoon. Learning coaches also help create a positive learning environment that supports all students learning and growth.
We believe parents should remain in control of their child's learning as they know their child best. With that in mind, we support parents' curriculum choices for their children. We understand some parents may not be familiar with or comfortable picking curriculum options for their children and will thus help parents in this process.
Learning options are available with varying price points. Please visit the tuition page for more information. Sibling discounts and tuition scholarships are available for families.
While we have not finalized our final location for the first year, please plan on either Afton, MN or Hudson, WI.
Registration is open for our 2 or 3-day , T/TH, or T, TH, F January cohort start.
A few spots remain in our M, W, and F cohort.
