The Gathering is a learning studio that provides middle and high school students opportunities to gather in person to learn, explore, and work together on real-world, engaging projects for 21st-century life preparation. 

The Gathering supports students between approximately 11-18 years of age. 

Families have the flexibility to choose from 2, 3, or 5-day learning options in the Studio. We do not take attendance, so parents need not worry about family vacations, appointments, tardiness, or sick days. However, we encourage regular participation to ensure students get the most out of The Gathering experience

The Gathering is not a school. Rather, we are a learning studio that partners with parents who choose to educate their children at home. 

A learning coach supports learners with their academic work in the morning and guides them through projects and enrichment activities in the afternoon. Additionally, a learning coach fosters a positive learning environment that promotes growth and development. In our small learning community, coaches develop a deep understanding of each student.

Parents have the freedom and flexibility to choose the academic curriculum that best suits their child's needs. They can opt for our carefully curated curriculum, which assesses each student's level of knowledge and provides a personalized learning plan to address any gaps and chart a clear path for advancement. Alternatively, parents can select their own curriculum, ensuring that it aligns with their educational philosophy and their child's unique learning style. This choice empowers parents to actively participate in their child's education.

Memberships are available with varying price points. Please visit the membership page for more information. Sibling discounts and needs-based scholarships are available for families. 

 We are proud participants of the KaiPod Learning Catalyst program, The National Microschool Center, and VELA grant recipients. 

Every day, we have multiple opportunties to share Jesus' love with students. This plays out in multiple ways: Morning devotions,  individual prayers with students, and large group conversations around how to love and serve like Jesus in our Studio community and in the communities in which we live. 

So, what exactly do we believe? 

• We believe in God, the Father, His son, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit who lives within those who believe.
• We believed God our Father created the earth and all that’s in the earth, sea, and sky.
• We believe God our Father created us, appointed us, and called us to love and serve like Jesus, all for His glory. 
• We believe Jesus died on the cross, and three days later rose from the cross. As a result, death was defeated and all who place their trust in Him live for eternity with God in Heaven.
• We believe the Bible holds all truth.
• We believe following biblical truth is how we should live day by day. 
• We believe God lives in us through the Holy Spirit and leads, directs, and calls us to be God’s ambassadors here on Earth. 
• We believe we are called to love and serve like Jesus.
• We believe all things are moving toward the feet of Jesus when He comes again.
